Service Description

Hi! Geraint here, nature photographer and brand ambassador for OM SYSTEM Now that the summer is officially over, we can look to the fungi and mushrooms to keep us macro photographers occupied! Join me for a 4 hour workshop set in the beautiful grounds of The National Botanical Gardens Of Wales During this session we will learn: Light and Composition Locating the best subjects Choosing best camera settings Anything else you'd like to know, I do enjoy a chat! All levels are welcome. Any camera brands/ Smartphones. LED torch, Lights, Flash are useful for getting creative. A macro lens is not essential for larger subjects, I quite like my 12-40 F2.8 Pro lens for fun close up images. Spaces are limited to just 6 to ensure that everyone has a great time and learns a lot! The weather.... Please bear in mind when booking that our workshop will go ahead even if it is drizzly/showery. However, if the weather is terrible, then we will reschedule. If you have weather sealed gear we should be OK. We have access to the fantastic glasshouse, which will keep us dry and provide us with subjects to photograph. A rain cover would be useful in any case. Full refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled. I look forward to seeing you there! Geraint
